Mónica Pérez Zúñiga

Miss Pérez Zuñiga has a BA in Communication science of UNAM´s Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales. She is a specialist in social communication, journalism and public relations.
She has worked in public institutions and civil associations as a political communications advisor, cultural activities promoter, reporter, columnist, copy editor, press coordinator and public relations.
She has taught at public and private schools and has worked as Head of information and dissemination departments of Instituto Nacional de Lenguas Indígenas (INALI).
Since 2011 up to date she is responsible of the Dissemination area of CEPE-Taxco, UNAM, where she has also taught to Mexican and foreign students. 

Carmina Hernández Delgado

Miss Hernández Delgado studied Architecture at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco campus in Mexico City.
From 2008 to 2011 she was director and editor of the cultural gazette “Taxco en la Cultura”. She has made some research on Taxco´s history and in 2010 she participated in the Centennial Celebration with the project “Voces de Taxco”. Since 2010 to 2012 she was a radio commentator in the program “Primero mi Tierra… historias y leyendas de Taxco” at ABC Radio. She has recorded cultural clips for the Sistema de Radio y Televisión de Guerrero as well as stories and legends for internet radio and historic notes for the “Taxco al día” newscast.
She has presented three photographic exhibitions at Museo de Arte Virreinal de Taxco: (a) “Mujeres en Taxco” in 2011, (b) “Geografía íntima de Taxco” in 2012, and (c) “Corpus” in 2014. In 2013 she presented at CEPE-Taxco her exposition “Mundo Alebrije” and “Colores y rituales. La muerte viva” at Museo Regional Altepepiacalli, Milpa Alta delegation, in Mexico City. She is currently working at the Dissemination department of CEPE-Taxco.
